How Matchsaver® Works
Matchsaver® is made to suit almost any sized sporting venue. The motorised roller
is operated by a simple remote control which at the press of a button travels
across the field, deploying a weatherproof cover in less than 10 minutes.
The roller can be operated in forward or reverse, and its speed can easily be adjusted to suit the needs of each individual playing surface. The motor is powered via the Matchsaver® control panel which simply plugs into the stadium’s existing power supply.
The weatherproof cover is made from multi layered Reinforced Low Density Polyethylene, with UV-Stabilisation. It is clear and transparent with a 70% (+/- 10%) light trans, which encourages root-growth on natural grass.
The material has been fully tested between -40°C and 75°C and can be re-cycled making it environmentally friendly. When used in conjunction with under soil heating, the insulating effect of the Matchsaver® cover has produced savings of up to 75% on heating costs!
Storage options
Matchsaver® can be stored in securely above or below ground level
allowing full access to and from the field.
